Hospital Run #2: A PLANNED Trip to the Hospital for Ear Tubes

This morning Trevor and Aila had tubes in their ears. TOO many ear infections this past year, and too many adverse affects from the antibiotics needed to tackle those ear infections! So we headed to Kennestone Hospital at 6am for the surgeries. All went well, and we are praying that those tubes really help!

Aila playing with the phone in her pre-op room

SO precious in that little gown and way-too-big red hospital socks...

Sleepy...she'd be up since 4:15am...

Trevor was thinking he would have to have shots. We told him no. He also thought the doctor was going to cut his tummy open (a la C-section). We told him he just had to smell some medicine in a mask. He seemed pretty relieved!

This is Dr. Michael Vick--who, in spite of a seriously unfortunate name, was
absolutely WONDERFUL with the kids. Best ENT specialist ever! I must say, though,
that it looks like he's fallen asleep standing up in this first pic...

This is when Aila, and then Trevor, were taking back for their surgeries.

  1. Hey, Dr. Vick was Lexi's ENT too. He IS the greatest children's ENT I have ever met. Hands down. Glad the tubes thing went well for the kids. And for you too. ;-)
