Last weekend we went to Southern Prep for Lexi Kibbe's 4th birthday party--it was so fun! And it's been so neat to see these kids grow up together. It doesn't seem that long ago that Holly was asking an unusually high number of questions about my pregnancy with Trevor and I finally said, "You're pregnant, aren't you?" And almost five years later, we're celebrating Lexi's 4th birthday! Time really flies...
This cake was not only cute, but tasted AMAZING. Totally worth the splurge. Holly, where did you get this cake, by the way? Yum yum yum...

I was snapping pictures of Aila, like the one above, when she said, "Hand, Mommy." So I put out my hand and she just rested her head on it. With my free hand I was able to steady the camera and get this next shot, which I think will always be one of my favorites.
I'll say it again, I absolutely adore this little girl.
I have LOVED having Trevor home from school for two weeks at Christmas break. I loved the extra time with him, and I loved just watching him be a goofball! I sure do love him with all my heart.
